Terms

Last updated September 19, 2026

These are the terms for using Twin Scene. They're short on purpose — this is a community site, not a corporation with a legal department.

Who we are

Twin Scene (twinscene.org and twinscene.live) is a project of Birdhaus Records LLC. You can reach us at alex@thebirdhaus.org.

Using Twin Scene

Be decent. Don't impersonate people or bands, don't spam or harass anyone, don't try to break the site or get into accounts that aren't yours, and don't post anything illegal. We can remove content or close accounts that cross those lines.

Twin Scene is not directed at children under 13, and you must be 13 or older to create an account.

Your content

What you put here — your profile, posts, statuses, photos, recaps, messages, and edits or claims you make to artist pages — is yours. By posting it, you give us permission to store it and show it on the site as your settings allow. We may edit or remove content to keep listings accurate or to deal with abuse.

Show listings

Show info comes from venues, bands, and people in the scene, and things change — shows get moved, cancelled, or sell out. We do our best, but we can't guarantee any listing is accurate. Check with the venue before you head out.

SMS alerts

Twin Scene show alerts is our optional text-message program. If you opt in, it sends alerts about shows for the artists you chose to get texts for.

Consent to receive texts is not a condition of using Twin Scene.

No warranty

Twin Scene is provided as-is, free, with no warranties of any kind. We're not liable for damages that come from using the site or from relying on anything listed here. We may change or shut down features (or the whole site) at any time.

Changes

If these terms change, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
