Chicago-based pop-rock artist Nick Karcher returns with "BODY BAG," a high-octane single that channels the tension, excess, and inevitability of classic slasher films into a modern pop-rock anthem. Built around towering guitars, glitching electronics, and an explosive chorus, the song reframes a relationship headed for disaster through the lens of horror cinema, where the ending is obvious long before the final scene. Written with Rayven Burdette of Lake Drive and co-produced by Michael Bono (Avril Lavigne), "BODY BAG" reflects Karcher's growing reputation for pairing cinematic concepts with hook-driven rock production. Following collaborations with We The Kings, more than half a million streams, and growing national attention, he continues to establish a distinct creative identity at the intersection of pop-rock, horror, and storytelling. hot mess is a high energy pop-rock band formed in 2025 out of Milwaukee, WI. Blending anthemic hooks, punchy guitars, and unapologetic lyrics into a sound that feels nostalgic and refreshingly modern. The band is composed of members Reid Stevenson (vocals), Sam Theno (guitar), Owen Stevenson (guitar), Trevor Gallagher (bass) and Aiden Valentine (drums). They channel themes of ambition, relationships, jealousy, and self reflection. Pulling from their pop-punk roots, they push their sound into a contemporary, dark pop-rock territory. Originating from Saint Paul, Minnesota, Fiona Hayes is revolutionizing pop-punk with a voice uniquely her own. Recognized for her signature layered harmonies and emotive, powerful vocals, Fiona combines gritty vulnerability with fierce strength. As a vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter, she crafts biting lyrics that reach deep—tackling themes of misogyny, resilience, heartbreak, and reclamation. At just 15 years old, she embodies a raw energy in the contemporary alt-rock and pop-punk landscape, gaining attention within the local music community. After releasing and touring his debut album WARNING HIGH CUBE from 2024-2025, Singapore-raised now Nashville-based Seth Findley (moony) established himself as a creative force to be reckoned with in the independent alternative rock scene of Nashville. His ever-growing cult-like fanbase of self-deemed ”moonies” bonds over rich visuals, dense lore, singable anthems, and captivating live shows in the “moonyverse” - a hidden pocket of Earth where all are welcome but only the brave and curious have entered. moony is hitting the road this fall touring his sophomore album "William Trimtoe." William Trimtoe is a 19th century Scotch-Irish folktale turned children’s folk rhyme turned moony’s sophomore album, a journey deep into consciousness and the metaphysical battle of reality that fuels the entropy of our fragile existence amidst all of its pain, fear, confusion, beauty, love, and wonder. A no holds barred expression of the deepest parts of himself, moony goes for broke and delivers his self-produced masterpiece. Bold, brash, and at times chaotic yet surprisingly palpable, William Trimtoe is an hour long fever dream of alternative rock-centric songs that dip their multi-genre toes into hardcore, psychedelic, electronic, singer-songwriter, indie, and even Gaelic folk Raw, vulnerable, and often unhinged, moony wastes no time getting to the heart of the matter with his music coinciding world-building. Songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist blurring the line between genres showcasing a sonic landscape of edgy alt-rock, hardcore, punk mellow indie, and a touch of catchy pop, moony is at full form after having spent the origin of his musical career as the frontman and primary songwriter of indie rock trio outfit Honest Men before their disbandment in 2022. “This was never meant to be a pristine, polished thing,” moony explains. “It's the messy, unpolished side of me that needs an outlet. Hot Flash Heat Wave began as a carefree high school garage band in Davis, CA where the three founding members met in the lively local music scene, playing in various groups and garages around the small suburban town. The members later reconvened in San Francisco, where the project rose to prominence in the bay area music scene, eventually gaining wider attention with the release of their debut record’s 'Gutter Girl' music video, which made its way to the front page of Reddit and catapulted the group to the international stage. Since then HFHW has created a dynamic and diverse soundscape with 3 records and one EP that have solidified them as a well known name in modern indie music. Bleary Eyed was formed in 2015 by frontman Nathaniel Salfi (guitar & vocals) Since their inception in the DIY scenes of DC and Philadelphia respectively, the band has taken many artistic turns. Through that experimentation, they’ve had time to grow into the sound they were always meant to make, filling a unique space in the shoegaze genre with their sample-heavy hazey computer pop atmosphere. The band presents a positive energy with relatable lyrics with stacked harmonies from Reynolds and Salfi over densely layered sample filled instrumentals. The songs teeter from more pleasant pop songs to heavier fuzz tracks sometimes blending elements from both styles.

We've been anually held throughout the upper midwest (first 4 years in Fargo, ND. moved to minneapolis in 2019.) We only missed 2 years in 2020-2021 as most people did. We've proudly called Underground Music Venue our home since 2022. We try our best to have a represtation for not only the twin cities bands, but bands from as many scenes as possible. And our goal is simple: to make sure that every band that comes through remembers playing here.
